  • Two Major STEM Events Planned for Yorkshire in 2026

STEMFest Yorkshire and the CyberFirst Conference are set to make a significant impact in Yorkshire next year. Coordinated by the STEM Hub and delivered by RTC North, these flagship events will bring together industry experts, educators, and students to celebrate and explore the world of STEM.

STEMFest Yorkshire will take place on the 1st and 2nd of July 2026 at Events North in Leeds. This exciting event will feature an unforgettable, hands-on exhibition led by industry experts for approximately 2,500 schoolchildren. Around 50 local companies will come together to showcase the vast array of career opportunities in the STEM sector across the region. Primary and Secondary School groups can look forward to fun, interactive sessions that bring science, technology, engineering, and mathematics to life, offering real-world insights into the diverse career paths available.

For STEM companies in the region, this event offers a unique opportunity to connect with their future workforce, strengthen their commitment to social responsibility, build relationships with industry leaders, and gain valuable business exposure. Participation is completely free for both schools and companies.

In addition, the CyberFirst Conference on the 5th of February at the Nexus in Leeds will provide cutting-edge discussions and insights on cybersecurity. This event will be filled with insightful sessions, interactive workshops, and networking opportunities, making it a fantastic opportunity for educators, teachers, and industry professionals to come together and discuss all things cybersecurity.

Conference highlights will include:

  • Expert Keynote Speakers
  • Engaging Workshops
  • Networking Opportunities
  • Insights from Industry Specialists

The STEM Hub, delivered by RTC North, is an initiative focused on bridging the gap between education and industry to inspire the next generation in STEM fields across the North East and Yorkshire and Humber regions. Through events like the large-scale STEMFest and the STEM Ambassador Programme, the Hub connects young people with real-world applications of science, technology, engineering, and mathematics, while also supporting businesses in developing future workforces and promoting diversity within STEM careers.

Tickets for the CyberFirst Conference are available now at CyberFirst Yorkshire Conference 2026 Tickets, Thu 5 Feb 2026 at 09:00 | Eventbrite.
